You can time ONE or TWO intervals and repeat them 1-99 times, allowing you to time both your work and rest periods. This is our Classic model timer and the perfect choice for most users. HIIT & Tabata Gymboss timers are made to keep your HIIT workouts efficient and effective. They can be set for two intervals (2 seconds to 99 minutes), and rounds or repeats up to 99 times. Gymboss timers are perfect for Tabata workouts – set the intervals for 20 seconds and 10 seconds for 8 repeats. Run, bike, row, squat, lunge – pick your favorite – and go as hard as you can for the 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, and repeat 8 times. Weightlifting Rest is important when weightlifting. Not timing rest can result in workouts that may run much longer than planned. Use Gymboss to time an exact rest period, such as 60 seconds, or whatever rest time you desire, between every set. Or, set the repeating feature and complete a disciplined workout of 20 sets in 30 minutes with approximately 60 seconds rest between each set, that’s a 30 minute workout every time!
